This is my favorite bread and the most easiest to do. The difference between this bread and the others that I made is that requires more time for the dough to rise and is baked in a cast iron pot at 450 F for 40 minutes. I usually make the dough in the evening and bake it in the morning and the dough can stay up to 10-12 hours at room temperature.
What you need to make the bread:
6 cups flour
Half tsp dry yeast
2 tsp salt
3 cups water
How to make the bread:
Mix all the ingredients and knead a little bit just to have a nice, moist dough. Let it rise overnight or about 10 hours.
Preheat the oven at 450F and warm the cast iron pot (duch oven pot) for about 30 minutes. Meanwhile take the dough on a floured parchment paper and make a nice ball. Cover it with plastic wrap and let it rise until the pot in the oven is hot.
With the parchment paper slide the dough in the hot pot cover with the lid and bake for 30 minutes. After 30 minutes take out the lid and bake for another 15 minutes until the bread is brown and crusty.
